Made to order
Made to order is a process where items are not produced until a customer has placed an order for that item. Made to order reduces inventory waste, as items are only produced when they have been sold. This also ensures that the items are perfectly fitted to the customer, as opposed to mass-produced items which may not fit as well. Made to order also allows for traceability throughout the whole chain, as each step can be tracked and monitored. This results in a higher quality product, as any issues can be quickly identified and rectified. Overall, made to order is a superior solution that achieves zero inventory waste and produces higher quality products to get your loafers perfectly fitted to you and only you.

This style is constructed using the Blake method. It’s characterized by a double binding (blake and rapid, precisely): while the first attaches upper, lining and insole; the second one secures the insole and outside sole together. The shoes are therefore easy to resole, and have greater flexibility.
Full Calf Lined Interior
These shoes are fully-lined with soft calfskin leather, which means ultimate comfort. Most companies will only partially line their shoes, but we go the extra mile because it means a more comfortable shoe and less break-in time.
What is MTO Standard Production?
Made-to-Order shoes are entirely produced on demand, strictly following your design instructions. After a purchase is made, the shoes begin their production journey. From material hand cutting, to the sole being stitched to the upper. Every part of the shoe is individually produced and assembled just for your order. It takes our artisans between 3 and 6 weeks to produce a pair of Made-to-Order shoes. Please, remember this when placing your order.
Patent Leather
Patent leather is a type of leather characterized by having a very clear, shiny, polished surface. The surface is generally water resistant, or water proof, and helps provide durability by protecting the leather underneath.
Due to it’s shine, patent leather is often used in more formal and dress leather goods including shoes, handbags, and belts. The glossy surface is prone to scratches and must be cared for well. Originally, this type of leather was made from natural leather coated in various oils.
The Zurigo Shoe Last
This style is produced using our most famous shoe last, which features a round toe for a classic english look. The Zurigo last is a perfect choice for either a casual look or a more contemporary shape to wear with formal clothes. The classic fit and slight almond toe creates a beautiful last with a timeless and versatile shape.
Meet the Crepe Rubber Sole
Crepe rubber is a natural porous material with a crumpled texture made from latex. Crepe Soles are grippier than leather soles but lighter than hard rubber. They are soft, flexible, and look natural but high-end. They really have a unique organic look. Crepe soles can make dressier uppers less extravagant, as well as casual uppers more high-end
Entirely cut by hand
The Clicking Department is the first stage of production. The highly skilled Clickers (whose name derives from the 'click' sound made when the knife is removed from the leather) use predetermined patterns to intricately cut the shoe's uppers and linings. Each Clicker design and grind the blade of their knife to their own personal taste and working preference.
